A little while ago, members of Bishopbriggs Branch started a fortnightly workshop
when members sew and knit items to be used for outreach to the community. The workshops
are going from strength to strength with skills developing and members enjoying spending
time together, praying, sharing, some teaching and some learning.
Meetings start with learning from Families Worldwide over a cup of tea or coffee,
before getting down to business.
All goods produced are donated to hospitals, Women's Refuges or sold with monies
going to MU funds.
Betty is captured with one of the Easter chicks she, Maime and Caryl have produced.
The first items of the workshop proved very popular!!
Cushions and beanbags for our local refuge was one of our aims which as you can now
see from the pictures below, we are well on with.
If you think this might be for you, please do come along. All welcome.
