Glasgow and Galloway 2012

Diocesan Quiet Days 2012

Members enjoyed two Quiet Days, led by Bishop Gregor at St Ninian’s, Castle Douglas and at St Serf’s, Shettleston. The focus for the days was the Mothers’ Union theme for 2012:

Your Gift: Discover and Celebrate

+Gregor offered members thoughts using these three themes

  1. The wonder of our being
  2. Know and love the origin of our being - God
  3. Discover and celebrate anew at worship - liturgy Greek word meaning service offered to the community. Worship the heartbeat of our lives - not only for ourselves, but also for community
