Diocese of Brechin

This is a small diocese on the east coast with many harbours and seaside resorts.  The major city is Dundee also known as the 'City of Discovery', where Scott's ship 'Discovery' was built and is now berthed. The city is well known for its scientific achievements at Ninewells hospital, as well as its cultural and artistic dimensions.

We have two branches within the Diocese at:

• St Mary's at Broughty Ferry
• St Mary the Virgin at Arbroath

They are affiliated to the Mothers’ Union Diocese of

St. Andrew's, Dunkeld and Dunblane.
