Cumbernauld Branch

About the Branch

Our Mothers Union meets once a  month, usually on the first Wednesday, at 7pm in the vestry at Holy Name Scottish Episcopal Church in Cumbernauld (Click this link to find out where we are).

We are a small but active group who is well supported by our church.  Our projects include making items, knitting, crocheting or sewing for Maternity units  in Glasgow, Ayrshire and Malawi. We support the charities Smalls for All and The Banana Box Trust. We also collect items for The Glasgow City Mission and The Smileawi Team who work in Malawi.

Once a month we visit a local care home for Coffee, Chat and Craft sessions. We also organise Easter, Harvest and Christmas Services and entertainment. This year we introduced a celebration for St. Patrick’s day which was very well received.

We support MU  campaigns both at home and worldwide eg: The 16 days of Activism.

All are welcome to come and see who we are and what we do. Prayer and Fellowship are at the heart of all we are and do.
