Diocese of Moray, Ross & Caithness
Saturday October 2nd
About forty members and friends attended this Communion service at Inverness Cathedral. It was conducted by Bishop Mark with the Diocesan Chaplain Jenny Sclater assisting. It was the first time that the Provincial President Hilary Moran had visited the Diocese, and it gave a chance for her to meet with members there. The refreshments afterwards, were as always much enjoyed.
The picture shows some members of the steps of the Cathedral after the service.
Details of the 2011 service to be held on 17th September are available here...
Culbokie 2010
Again we had a lovely sunny day for our now annual Diocesan outing to Rowan Glen on 22nd May, by kind permission of Carol & Martin Roff. We were joined by the Bishop, Revd. Mark Strange and his wife Jane, along with friends from the Aberdeen Diocese.
Proceedings got under way with a short service led by Martin, followed by mountains of food, and the then much needed walks and activities this marvellous garden has to offer.
