New Provincial President Appointed

Hilary Moran has been chosen to take over from Sheila Redwood in 2010.

She was the sole nominee to take on the role of provincial president for Scotland when the new triennial starts next year. Hilary lives in Largs and is very experienced with respect to the work of Mothers' Union. She will represent Scotland on the General Trustees Board for three years from January 2010. Congratulations to Hilary.

Her commissioning took place on Saturday 13th February 2010.  A report from the day is available here....

Could You be a Parenting Facilitator?

A training course for parenting facilitators is being planned to take place at Scottish Churches House, Dunblane in October 2009.

The three day residential course is designed to train you to help others to do the most important job in the world - that of a parent. Successful participants will gain an external accreditation from the London Open College Network.
