Provincial Presidents Meet

Over 30 countries from the Anglican communion were represented at the recent meeting in July of MU Provincial Presidents. They shared sessions on the visions and marketing of the MU as well as the empowerment of women and communication. (Kathleen Snow from Canada, Naomi from Congo, Ann Mota from Papua New Guinea, Rhody from Myanmar, Charmian Paterson from Scotland, former past president)

All Diocesan branches have links with members overseas.  They correspond or e-mail (where appropriate) with members overseas and are frequently remembered in our prayers.

MU has three grant-giving bodies:

CWISY for UK and Irish project work

OVERSEAS FUND -  funds 286 MU workers and their travel needs.  The fund has purchased bicycles, boats and Landrovers.  It also helps with project work overseas.

RELIEF FUND is there for emergencies and disasters - war, flooding and famine.
