Spirituality and Prayer
We aim to promote and encourage Christian family life. We are committed to prayer in support of our aims.
Every day around the world Mothers’ Union members stop pray at midday. We include the Mothers’ Union Prayer and the Wave of Prayer.

Loving Lord,
We thank you for your love so freely given to us all.
We pray for families around the world.
Bless the work of the Mothers' Union
as we seek to share your love
through the encouragement,
strengthening and support of marriage and family life.
Empowered by your Spirit,
may we be united in prayer and worship,
and in love and service
reach out as your hands across the world.

The Wave of Prayer
This involves us offering prayer for the Mothers' Union around the world. We pray for Mothers' Union in each diocese of the Anglican Communion on specific days in the year. Thus we ensure that we pray for each diocese in turn and focus on their work and needs.
