Wheels Appeal Coffee Evening
This will be held at our meeting on January 11th. All are welcome and we have invited local MU Branches to join us for this worthwhile cause.
The Wheels Appeal aims to raise funds for transport in rural Africa, so that MU members can provide aid in hard to reach areas. Hence the aim of our Wheels Appeal Coffee Evening. Please come along to enjoy a cup of coffee (or tea!) and some home baking, to find our a little about the Appeal and to have some fun as well.
We will charge a £2 entry fee, there will be a raffle and some activities to take part in. Download the poster here and the invitation letter here.

Fresher’s Days at Glasgow University

Branch Outing to St Andrews
24 members of the branch and friends went on an outing to St Andrews on 13 June 2009. The outing, organised by branch member Audrey Groom, took in coffee and a scone at Kinross, lunch at St Andrews Botanic Gardens (beautiful), some time in St Andrews, a tour of the East Neuk and finally dinner overlooking the Forth. A really lovely day out!
2009 Diocesan Festival Service
We were very pleased to welcome the Worldwide President, Rosemary Kempsell to St Cyprians for this Festival Service where she gave the address (photo above with Bishop Idris). This was followed by lunch prepared by branch members. Photo Gallery...
