A time together with Bishop Mark
28th April 2012
Twenty seven members spent a day with Bishop Mark at his home which is attached to the Diocesan centre and St. John’s Church at Arpafeelie on the Black Isle.
After coffee on arrival, the Bishop spoke about his hopes for the MU in the Diocese, and he also challenged us to look at what we wanted from it, were we content to sit back and enjoy a monthly get together, or look outwards for ways we could move the ethos of the Mothers’ Union forward .
We split into groups and lively discussions ensued. He asked us to go away and think about how we were going to move forward. His wife Jane, then provided us with a lovely lunch, and we finished with a communion service in the church.
The day was enjoyed by all who went.
