The link between the Mothers’ Union in the Diocese of Brechin and that of St Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane was formally cemented on Saturday 20 September 2014 at a celebration in St St Mary's, Broughty Ferry attended by the Mothers’ Union Worldwide President, Lynne Tembey, and the Bishop of Brechin, the Rt Revd Dr Nigel Peyton.
Lynne (above) gave an inspiring address and Bishop Nigel (centre below) celebrated the Eucharist.
After the service the congregation repaired to the undercroft for lunch and the cutting of the celebration cake (below).

Diocesan Retreat
Members from around the Diocese enjoyed a wonderful retreat at Elie over the weekend of 4th to 6th November 2011. The retreat allowed everyone lots of time to think about where our treasure lies and our gifts from God.
Lady Day 2011
at St Ninian’s Cathedral
It was a wonderful day led by Bishop Bob Gillies from Aberdeen and Orkney Diocese. He reminded us that it was our hands, feet and eyes that were used by God for the world wide work of Mothers' Union. He wore robes gifted to him by a Diocese in South Africa. He told us that the Bishops in South Africa were all Mothers' Union members and could not be Bishops unless they were.
